End of the day, the reason he is so calm, is because he doesn't care about F1 in general. He's said it numerous times. He enjoys driving fast cars and he's good at it. Add in the fact Ferrari pay him a lot of money and dont require him to take part in most of the sponsor crap he hates so much. It's hard not to be calm.
He doesn't care if he's world champ, just wants to go out and drive the car.

thing with Kimi is he's actually very wild. He has a history of drunken misdeeds. It's just when he's around the F1 side of his life he goes into that very quiet and Finish like mood.
