;) ;D ;D

The probability of cocking up is directly proportional to the number of people watching and in this case, a couple of million F1 fans ;D ;D

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

Wonder when his brain will kick in and tell him its a good idea to keep your mouth shut when you've just screwed up. ::)

;D ;D ;D

What else can he say? I wouldnt expect anything less. Hes not going to say 'ive lost this race because i made a silly mistake, im depressed, im de-motivated, whats the point in going on, im sulking round the back of the garage, etc,etc...'

In motorsport surely confidence and motivation are everything.

Magny-Cours will be for once an interesting race :D

I think what would have been better would have been a humble approach.
Saying he expects to be able to fight it out with the others. BMW wont talk about being title contenders despite leading one of them and being close in the other. Ferrari still say they respect and are wary of the challenge the other teams pose despite a 20 odd point lead over Mclaren and having won the most races this year.
I've got no problem if he says, oh we can win the races that are coming up, but to say he will be unstoppable is just stupid. He's only won 2 of 7 races so far.
He'll have the 10 place drop in Magny cours which will give him an excuse for that. The race I think that will define the season is Silverstone.
