I think Martin would do poorly. He struggles to drive the F1 cars in his specials, and he was never that special to begin with as a racer.

I think thats a little unfair! Certainly not 'top drawer' but put in some blistering performances in his first year in F1 till he broke his ankles, never mind his performances against a certain aryton senna in F3.
Top sportscar driver though and when he did get a good f1 car such as the benneton, although not able to match Mr Schumacher in qualifying, he occasionaly got the better of him in the races. Should of won in canada as well.
I suspect the reason he 'stuggles' with curent F1 cars has more to do with the fact hes no longer 20/30 years old and probably doesnt keep up a fitness regime of a current F1 driver - plus he cant go out and bin one when williams and redbull are so kind to let him drive one in the first place!! But the fact they do let him must say somthing about how those teams rate Martin as a driver.
I cant see them letting any old tom, dick or james allen drive one!
