What do you think is the better big Mercedes - S600 Pullman or Maybach 62?

Ask again in 30 years. If they still have value and allure after that sort of time, then they have something that Rolls Royce have found, until then, it is just a Merc and an expensive one at that.

2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

Maybach 62 has one row of rear seats.

To be honest, neither. A Rolls Royce Phantom costs $328,750, the Maybach $385,250 and the S600 Pullman around  $600,000, I would have the Rolls. There is heart in the Roll's, the others are new kids on the block with something to prove. I hate to say it, but the others are just expensive Merc's.  Apart from which, Simon Cowl ponce's about in a Maybach, so that is one reason I would not have one. That, and only the first 20 feet would fit in my garage ;D
