Interstate highways (limit 112kph or 70mph) shant be driven down backwards and sideways

[glow=yellow,2,300]I[/glow] was going 128kph or 80mph and slowed down to go around someone else who had done the same (I went in around) 80kph or 50mph

(mind you there were 40mph crosswinds)

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

Most of the people that lose control around here have four wheel drive, and used it.

they think they can drive in a more hazardous condition (faster) so they are more likely to lose control

my Sonoma had four wheel drive, but i wasnt using it, it doesnt really add any more traction in highway conditions

So often the case and not just with 4X4. We sit in the warm, surrounded by a strong metal box, helped out by 4X4, traction control, ABS, airbags etc.............we are so bullet proof until it all goes wrong, and we are actually a soft bit of lead and not full metal jacket. I see it every week on the Autobahn in the winter on the way to work.
I have even been overtaken by a 40 tonner in 4 inches of snow. I was doing about 30mph and that was too fast. Still I had the last laugh, the next corner he had jack knifed and was in the ditch. He was stood by his truck trying to flag down very unsympathetic car drivers.
