could get even stranger. The race over ran the time limit by 6 minutes and 23 seconds. Alonso passed massa either just as the time expired or on the lap after the time expired. If it was just as then the results stand as far as 1-2 stand, if it was the lap after then there could be some controversy.
Nope, the FIA rule book states that the clock will not be stopped during a red flag/ abandoned start situation. Alonso's final race time was 2.06:26.358
Thats the whole point of the 2 hour limit, in the event of a stoppage, your not racing till midnight if the delays stupidly long.
I dont think the differances in positions would be too differant, not sure why you think Hamilton would get a point? When did he pit?
