1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

The owner also allowed one of his classic $100.000 Porsches to be destoyed for the movie. Now he has 'mixed' feelings about this crash. Cry baby. If you care so little about your collection, sell it......

even worse since he wasn't driving bet you the insurance wont even touch it.

Most insurances don't pay if you crash on a racetrack. Not even when you drive it yourself. I used to do a lot of trackdays on my various motorcycles. I had to get a separate insurance for every single trackday.
