This is actually quite an interesting sale from the F1 point of view too. Dave Richards has an entry for a team in the 2008 F1 championship. Could this mean we see AM on the grid? I hope so.

Ironic, the only profitably part of Ford and they sell it off  :-/

I hope so too Craig, however I think they may be branded as Prodrive (with a title sponsor) for the first season at least, as I wouldn't think they'd be that successful... Maybe wait for a better performing car before the AM name is put on the cars....
On the other hand, with the right set-up who knows what Dave Richards has up his sleeve, and Prodrive certainly now how to run a successful racing team.

Certainly Prodrive will arrive as Prodrive, but DR did mention it could happen in the Future.

Do we know who's providing the engines for Prodrive next year?

Glad to see ProDrive as the buyer!  I guess that secures Aston's LeMans effort!

Aston Martin is a good company.  From my Motorcity perspective, it's sad to see "them" leave.  (In my opinion, Ford could have grasped a little more than $924 mil for them)
