shorter and shorter

Well Top gear seems to get shorter and shorter every series. This has had what? 5 maybe 6 episodes?
I know they probably go through their budget within 2 episodes but this is getting silly. :'(

Yeah it really sucks!!

I thought I heard something of the presenters not being happy with this either...

Having said that.... Today's show had me in stitches again... especially when the Alfa's stearing wheel came of for the first time.

Brilliant. And I did like the looks of the Mustangs. All three of them!

i was disapointed too when i read in the magazine 'last in the series' , however, i thought they might have cut this series short due to hammonds accident.  maybe they didnt want to make him do to much so soon after?  just a thought.  having said that, this series has been one of the funniest.  tonight was just brilliant, had me in stiches all the way through.

yeah thats what I was thinking. A lot of the filming seems to be from before his accident.

Don't forget guys, this series was split because of Hammy's accident, it would have all gone ahead before Christmas but for that.

One thing I did catch at the end which did not sound too good. Normally at the end of the last episode they say something along the lines of, "On that bombshell, this was the last episode, see you in the autumn or spring or later in the year or so", but last night they said "we don't know when Top Gear will be on again".

I believe its the BBC's highest rated show or certainly top 3. Theres no way or reason they would cancel it just yet. Plus those three seem to have gelled fully into one of the best presenting trios on tv.

Proved when it whooped the a$$ of the most controversial final of Big Brother, in the ratings war. We can thank Hammy and his high speed accident for that  ;D ;D

It was a pretty good season despite how short it was. Maybe on the off-season Hammond can learn the difference between SAE-certified net Horsepower (BHP) and SAE True/Wheel Horsepower (WHP). ::) ;)

As horse power is measured at the flywheel, the stated power output boasted by the manufacturers is really a bit of a con.

it was confirmed after that it'll be back in the summer.

In Jeremy Clarkson's column in The Sun today he wrote this:
After last weeks Top Gear, the continuity announcer said the show would be back in the summer.
Can I just say, here and now, it won't be.

that sucks. I wonder whats going on? Perhaps there are some problems with the presenters contracts. before this season Hammond got a 3 million contract, I dont think Clarkson or May are on anything close to that.
Maybe i'm wrong.
