Well, qualifying's over, and if MSC wins the WC now, then he'll deserve it. Tough luck for that to happen at the beginning of the final session. Nice to see Massa being quick though. If he drives like that, it would be nice to see Ferrari operating an equal team, a la McLaren in the Senna/Prost years.

Missed the qualifying today, but having looked at the results on the F1 website, I can't say it looks hopeful for Michael Schumacher at all......

i'd say its looking quite good for Michael.
He no longer is driving with any presure on him, Alonso is in one of those positions where he is and can get tied up in the first corner madness thats bound to happen and we all know that if that happens Michael just has to close up in Massa's backside and he'll breeze right by. 10th is by no means an impossible to drive through to win. It's unlikely but who knows, the big one will be Massa and Fisi. How well they do.

True, but if Schumacher is going to win the World Cup, he has to come first and Alonso has to be out of the points..... even if Alonso gets caught up in the madness of the first corner, Schumacher could get stuck behind the "madness" of the first corner....

Thats the beauty of having Massa up in front, he can control the pace of the field. Once pit stops start, there are no better team than Ferrari, Renault are the only team as good at them, without Alonso who cares? lol. Seriously though best I can see happening is Schumi driving it through the field and possibly winning. But Alonso is simply to good to just throw it off the track. Unless he has a blown engine or is hit by someone, a top 8 place is virtually assured. The main prize now is the Constructors title, its the only one Ferrari can do anything about, everything else is in the hands of fate.

To give credit to the bloke, Schumi could start in the pit lane and still have a half decent chance of giving Renault a headache...

Here's a scenario...

Last Lap, 1. Massa, 2. Alonso, 3. MSc...

Predict the radio conversation between Ross Brawn and Felipe... ;D

Well, there was the replay, and I don't think anyone could say there was any contact at all there - the logic leads me to think maybe he picked up some debris coming out of the final corner from Rosberg's crash - or on the kerb, as having seen Massa just take turn 1, MSc took a good 18" to 2ft of kerb...

i'm waiting for the cockpit cam from fisi before final judgement. My question is, do the commentators actually pay attention to the pit stops? Michael took fuel on, surely someone in the box saw it. ::)

Ferrari/Bridgestone now say that the tyre was cut by debris, not by contact...

Hop JB keeps this up... :)
