So after another driving masterclass by my man schumi, looks like we are in for one heck of a show-down in the final two GP.

With the two favorites tied at the top and the constructors championship only one point in Renault's favour - its gonna be close! Back to the days of Schui vs. Hakkinen battling it out to the last GP.

In one sense I would love for Alonso to win, he's young, cool and the second best guy out there. But, its schumis last season after all and he deserves to go out with an unprecidented 8th world title. He has obliterated just about every record in the sport and getting that 8th championship would leave a record no doubt destined to out live Schumacher himself.

How many of you wish you could have watched fangio racing first hand? well I hope your watching Schumacher, because its going to be him that everyone will be talking about and comparing others to for a loooooong time.

He would take a 9-7 win lead over Alonso so even if he failed to finish in Brazil he'd be champ. I dont see Renault winning in Japan, its a Ferrari/schumi track, Brazil is where they will have to make their last stand.

Alonso is really self-destructing. So much for him being Mr cool. So who gets number 0 next year? Kimi or Massa?

Dumped SpeedTV when they started showing idiot programming. F-1 was way better on CBC when they had Murray Walker. Less 'dead air' too.

I hate the CBS prodcasts now. . .the announcers aren't that good.

And what was it they said last year? these V8's would slow the cars down to a safer speed. So how exactly has that worked now that Schumacher has set a time almost 2 seconds faster than the previous fastest time set in the V10 era.

Take all the stupid little wings off, and the big ones, and that'll slow them down. Then remove traction control, radios and other electronic "helpers".

Then you have a race.

i'll agree on all except the radio's and main front and rear wings. (radios are a good thing from a safety point and also they provide some good tv sound byte's:))
Most drivers dont care about traction control anyway and have said they could drive without it. Definatly get rid of these mini wings, that would not only slow corner speeds but increase straightline speeds and promote overtaking. I'm all for the high speeds, this is the pinical of motor sport, if certain drivers (DC and webber ahem) dont like them, then I'm sure GP2 would happily accept them into their ranks. But it shouldn't take rain to make a race interesting. A front wing, a rear wing, and returning to slick tyres is the solution. Hopefully those will all happen in 2008.

All that we need is a "proper" gearstick and clutch pedal. Once the diver does the gear changes when he wants to and not when the car says he can, I think that we would then see some real racing and overtaking.

Thats not funny let me enjoy these final few weeks.

I am already well and truely backing Lewis Hamilton for next year. I will never like Alonso he's far too arrogent, worse than Michael. And with his recent outbursts against his own team, I think the guys the biggest pile of crap in sports.
After what Ferrari have done to Michael I am no longer going to be supporting them. Its amazing how quickly they forget it was Michael who brought over Ross Brawn and Jean Todt and basically those three created the team again.
And I dont really rate Kimi as a driver.
So Lewis it is. I really believe he is the best british driver since Mansell.
