Honda Accord Estate 2004.
The wife has a Honda CRV.

Nice. Can't wrong with Honda (touchwood!). Both of mine are Japanese, one from said manufacturer (via Swindon), and the other from a Le Mans winning Hiroshima based company - good cars... :)

[quote]Well seeing as how my first car was an Escort, my current one is also and they've been incredibly reliable and good transport I've got no complaints. I had my first (a Mk III for 2 1/2 years) and we've had this one for 6 years!
Neither EVER let me down. I'm a big fan ;) In fact I've only had to replace the engine temp. sensor on this one and the front brake disks (due to a defective pad damaging one). Not bad at all ;)
We've done from P

Technically I own 3 vehicals...

89 Ford Bronco II...Was my first, didnt like it that well but it was in nice shape...till the brakes went out and a tree totaled it :P

91 Ford F-150 5.7L V8 4x4...by far it was my favorite and was my baby, had nearly 3 grand worth of exhaust, paint, and engine upgrades...but hitting a deer at 65 mph and ending up in a ditch...not to much left of it :'(

And currently driving a 92 F-150 4x4 thats on its last leg, paid 2 grand for it, body and frame is great, but engine is about to go.  So be selling it off to some poor sap before to long and getting something better...probably a 95 Silverado 1500 8)

First 2 are still sitting at a friends place waiting to be torn apart and sold for scrap.  Not much of the F-150 is usable for parts.  The Broncos transmition is going to be sold though.  It only has about 10K miles on it, other then the front end the rest could be used on a restore job ;)

As is any car in the UK... ::)

Not as expensive as Souichiro and his Porsche 924 in Holland.
I think that you get taxed in Holland for just looking at a car. Over to you Souichiro.

For me it was a toss up between the Accord and the Mazda 6.

Prior to the Hondas we both had Mitsubishis, I had two Galants (great cars) and she had a Colt. I don't think any can touch the japanese in this kind of price range ;D

A 1990 Cutlass Supream 4d 3.1L. Its in surprisingly good condition for it's age too, used to belong to some old people.

Iused to own a 1988 Chevy S-10 Blazer 2d 4.3L and I had lots of fun with it, maybe I will seek out another one someday but my next car is going to be an IROC Z. I just like that body style a lot, after a bit of customization I'll probably keep it forever.

In the UK I get taxed for looking at my payslip... They'll be a breathing tax in the UK soon - we'll all need oxy meters fitted and get charged by the litre (of course, if we aren't in they estimate the meter reading ;))!
