What Car Do You Own?

Postby Hai Perso Coyone? » Mon May 29, 2006 11:51 am

Just thought I'd ask what people around here own...

My parents (and I for that matter) own a 2004 Lexus IS200Plus...comes with a GPS and other goodies...

Your turn ;) :)

Well seeing as how my first car was an Escort, my current one is also and they've been incredibly reliable and good transport I've got no complaints. I had my first (a Mk III for 2 1/2 years) and we've had this one for 6 years!
Neither EVER let me down. I'm a big fan ;) In fact I've only had to replace the engine temp. sensor on this one and the front brake disks (due to a defective pad damaging one). Not bad at all ;)

Apart from their annoying habit of rusting quicker than any other car, I must say all escorts I have encountered have been good enough cars. my dads lasted him well.

The rear wheel arches are a terror for rusting on Escorts. Hence the first thing I do is sand them down and give 'em a lick of Hammerite.
My first Escort after a rather unfortunate encounter with a tit on my side of the road in a Jag which led to me rebuilding the front end (including welding some mighty steel bars in the bumpers) and painting the whole car in silver Hammerite with a black base line and chassis. Talk about bullet-proof as well as rather cool 8)
