I gotta larf... ;D...!

1950...
When I went for my motorbike test the examiner stood on the pavement and said....

"Right, Mr. Fosbery. I want you to ride up the road, turn right at the the next junction, carry on down the road to the bottom. Then turn right again, and meet me here."
Which I duly did...
"Excellent!", he said...!

He asked me a couple of questions about the "Highway Code", (which I had previously studied...endlessly...).

"Excellent, Mr. Fosbery. You have passed the driving test with flying colours!".

Sorted...!

Been having fun on my motorbike ever since... 8)...!

LOL When I did that I promptly got lost. The unerring Grumpy sense of direction gets me into all sorts of interesting situations. ??? By the time I'd found my way

What did you do wrong?

I've been merrily terrorizing the roads since August.

Ouch, thats harsh. I almost failed mine for being too far out, luckily my examiner seemed to be more interested in getting home, and let me go further back. Plus I drove off without clearing the rain off the window and it was really bad. So I got lucky. You'll get it next time mate:)

The annoying thing is that I was had just started round the corner when a van came up behind me. So I stopped went into forward and just wasn't quick enough getting the lock off and ran onto the pavement to the exact words of "sh*t f*ck b*gger". Whats even more irritating is afterwards I performed it without a problem. :P

It seems strange that got you a fail. Did you do something wrong while pulling away from the van?

Yes. I mounted the pavement. :o

After that it all went to pot and I managed to achieve other majors in control, direction change and meeting other traffic.

The last one was irritating cause I thought the car had stopped to let me go by. But then it moved in as I did and as it was her right of way, I had to reverse. The other two were just stupid mistakes and nerves really.

Bummer. :)
