Richard Burns.

25th November, Richard Burns has passed away as he has been very ill for some time.

He was diagnosed with a brain tumour after blacking out whilst driving his Peugeot WRC car on a road section before the Wales Rally in 2003.

Very sad, i knew he had been ill, but, thought he was past it and recovering.....  :(
Posting drivel here since Jan 31st, 2002. - That long!

I am sill in shock at this news.  Oddly still no official news reports on it, just forum threads from what I read.  

I love his game and from what I read he was an extraordinarily kind man.  Such a waste to go so young. :-/

Very sad news indeed, a huge talent & such a shame to lose someone so young. :(

Very sad news - just saw it on the TV. I was unaware that his illness had been so serious. Though it will be overshadowed by the death of George Best, this is far more tragic. :(
