OK, I thought it would be interesting to know what kind of stereo's people have in their car (if any).

Alpine is the brand, and it's a simple cassette player with radio tuner. But the best thing is the four speakers which make for a nice sound. ;D

our family van (VW T4 transporter, aftermarket dualcab) has a cheapass radio/cd from the ALDI than can read MP3s and no extra insulation past the front seats so you don't hear a thing in the back when the volume is on a reasonable level up front.

Our previous peugeot 406 wagon had the optional JBL stereo factory option fitted. 6cd changer in the left spares box and a big booster amp in the right one.

My '01 Boxter has a full JL Audio system in it, a thousand watt amp, a single 15 inch sub and I dunno what size because I can't see them, but two speakers under the dash for surround.

That's how I bought the car, I ain't complainin!
