the race was nothing special, how people think JPM was challenging schumacher is beyond me, then again 5 seconds is prob considered close for any car to be that near a ferrari. And as Murray walker used to say, "catching the guy in front is one thing, passing him is another" Drive of the day has to be shared by Button and Trulli, both of them drove a great race each having their own problems to deal with. Mclaren Mercedes, are a joke. Kimi is not being the driver everyone makes him out to be, its obvious he has been given the better car over Coulthard and he is wasting it, maybe its time to consider giving David a chance. Bahrain is going to be the real indicator of who are the good drivers and who arnt. This is a track that none of the drivers know in a race enviroment, its going to be hot and very dusty, a true drivers track.
Couple of other things slightly related, they NEED to loose this qualifying format, changing the start times isnt the problem, its just the sheer stupidity of it thats the problem. I know alot of people liked last years format, I also know alot of drivers and fans would like to see them return to the 1 hour, 12 lap session(me included) in my opinion that was much more exciting, it meant drivers going out there and really pushing hard to get the pole and keep it through the entire session.
And finally. More for the british fans i believe, but please please please bring back Murray Walker, i know the guy didnt want to retire, the passion he still shows, the fact that he still does apperances shows that, even if its just for a couple of the european races. This guy brought the race to life even if there was one guy on the track, the key to good commentary is a color commentator and a play by play commentator. We currently have two rather emotionless play by play commentators and it just doesnt work.

I agree with ya about Murray bringing a race to life .... however he aint gonna come out of retirement ... hes enjoying having some time with his wife and family for the first time since 1949 or something.

The next race is gonna be real fun and games .. but I think Ferrari will pull it off again.

I felt really sorry for Webber in the last race ...fantastic qualifying only to blow it on the line .. .... but HEYHO thats motorsport.
