Postby gtirob01 » Thu Aug 30, 2012 12:16 pm

Ok, this is definitely my next to buy!

http://www.alabeo.com/index.php?accion= ... &correl=80

Very nicely priced as well!
My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.

YYYEEESSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just shared this on the WACO Classic facebook page...the boss man is definitely going to see this!

The one thing WACO lovers love as much as WACOs is representations OF WACOs

I asked around today at the office, apparently some people from maybe Australia or NZ had a llloonggg conversation with our general manager Carl who has been with WACO Classic since the beginning. They grilled him I guess about making a  sim WACO, apparently this was it.

Sounds like a few folks might be getting FSX just for this soon  :D

By the way, Carl knows the WACOs disturbingly well. I can show him a drawing of a generic bracket or tab and he will instantly know where it is on the plane, its name, number, how many per plane, next-assemblies, and change history...he used to do AEROBATICS on his test flights of WACOs, that is aerobatics on the airframe's FIRST FLIGHT! Between him and Bob Wagner alone there is a huge amount of history in our office, they both have a collection of stories only long time airshow pilots and test pilots could have....like a brand new WACO bursting into flames on start up! (bad battery+wood/fabric+gas=FIRE)

I just think the YMF-5 is one of the most beautiful planes around anywhere! Would love to find someplace down here in NW FL that offers rides in them!

Let me know your area and price range and that could be arranged. Florida happens to be home to a healthy population of our YMF-5s. In fact, in a few months there will be some more new ones in Florida  ;)

You could email our sales dept about a ride too. The sales dept is actually the owner but he keeps tabs on where the WACOs are.

You can email him at sales@wacoclassic.com or myself: adam@wacoclassic.com
