CLS Piper PA 28R

Postby Flying Trucker » Sat Jun 02, 2012 9:06 am

Good morning all... :)

I got the Commercial Level Simulations "CLS" Piper PA 28R-200 Arrow 11 and having a noise problem.

I downloaded it twice but both times when in flight I get this loud rattle or something similiar to that sound.

Can't figure it out.

Looks like a good little bugsmasher but would anyone have or know of a fix for that noise?... :)

Thanks in advance...Cheers...Doug

Afternoon all... :)

Well the Fix on page 11 FSX>Props Downloads here would not work for me...kept getting an error.

What I did is copied the Mooney FSX Default Sound Files over and now it sounds good... ;D

Hey Doug, small question here: you said that CLS told you that the Piper is not up to thier standards. Also, it seems it's just a FS9 model, since your prop dissappears behind the clouds. So why didn't you choose the Carenado PA-28RT for FSX instead ?  :-?

Hi Stephane... :)

The CLS Piper was Freeware and I did not read it was not up to their standards at CLS until I got it.

I do not have any problems with the aircraft (prop) other than I do not like having the three passengers stuck there... ;D

I am looking at a couple other Carenado aircraft and that is one of them.

Would also like to get a good Payware:
-DeHavilland Tiger Moth
-Consolidated PBY Catalina
-Waco or Great Lakes Bi-Plane
-DeHavilland DHC-3 Radial Single Engine Otter (if they ever
      make one)

Not really stuck on the way one has to tune the Radios or use the Auto Pilot in some of the Carenado Models like the Cessna 185 and Cessna 337 and will be looking at other manufacturers shortly... :)
