Can anyone suggest a high quality F-14 or similar twin seat fast jet?

Postby Dave71K » Wed Feb 08, 2012 1:17 pm

I'm after a twin seat fast jet like the F-14 but I want it VRS quality, a big ask I know so I was wondering if any actually exist.

IRIS Simulations just released their F-15E that looks to be VRS quality or higher.
Don't have it myself yet, as I'm saving up for a DSLR at the moment, but all the other IRIS products I have are great.

Hope this helps,
RaptorF22 :)

Iris did do an amazing job on the Mudhen, a big systems upgrade from their previous jets - the only let-down (if you can call it that) is in the weapon systems and radar.

Milviz has an F-15E as well.  How is the IRIS flight model? After the FDE issues on the C-27J, which I LOVE, I'm not sure I'd pay full price for one of their planes.

When the TacPac releases (hopefully soon since its in closed beta) they're doing the F model.  Can't wait for that one!

I didn't even realize that Milviz had an F-15 out when I bought the one from IRIS...  ::) I am satisfied with IRIS' product so far, but I haven't been able to put it through all the tests just yet. Milviz' bird looks real good too, so it'll be a tough choice for you. I really wish developers would communicate more, I really don't see the point in two companies coming up with the same aircraft at around the same time  ::)

What is wrong with the Iris F-14? Or indeed their awesome Tonka and Phantom? We've got 'em all here and they ROCK (and are free now I believe) 8-)
