Carenado's 152

Postby Thud » Tue Apr 27, 2010 8:58 pm

I was thinking about buying Carenado's Cessna 152. For people who bought it, how accurate is it to real life. I fly the bird in real life and I want it to be as realistic as possible. Thanks guys.  8-)

I might only have two hours flying a Cessna 152, but in terms of flight dynamics, it feels pretty realistic. All of the nuances of -152 flight are there; slow climb rate, low roll rate, etc.

The only thing wrong with it that I can think of so far, is the fact that it doesn't have a fuel tank selector (I *think*), so that it's stuck draining from the left wing tank. I can't remember whether or not it has a tank selector as a 2D pop up, I only fly from the VC.

Look on the floor somewhere between the two seats and the main panel. If they forgot to put the big round fuel selector there (it's pretty large...), that would just be strange.  :-/

Oddly enough, the signage for the fuel selector is on the floor.

Try this freebie:

It's a very nice plane and I'm sure others here will second that. ;)

As far as I remember, it even has a fuel selector (not sure though) ;)

I have about 40 hours in a c-152 and the Carenado flies well in my opinion.
