I have a couple of their planes, very nice and realistic I think.

Reading the manuals is a MUST!!

You will have a much more rewarding experience in the long run. 8-)

I like to drop mine from 60,000 feet in a cold and dark config, and see if I can get it started and pull out of the fall before I slam into the ground.

I'll make it someday. ;D ;D

(I can do it with the Piaggio P-808)

You get quick at remembering and hitting those buttons when the ground is coming up quick. ;) ;D ;D

Let me see if I understand the MD-11 well enough....

1) APU on, then

2) Start engines 1 & 3.

Is that all?  :)

Well that's the challenge isn't it. ;) ;D

Like I said, I haven't done it with one of the heavies yet. ;D

But someday I'll get quick enough.

It's more of an exercise, how fast can I get it done.  Falling just provides added motivation. :)
