Getting Close.........the ultimate Payware F/A-18

Postby MIKE JG » Fri Dec 29, 2006 8:46 pm

Check out the link.  This has been in the works for quite some time now.  They are trying for a dual FS9 and FSX release but FSX issues are bogging things down so I think we might see the FS9 version released on it's own, rumor is maybe by February.

I've been waiting for this one, the systems are supposed to be almost fully modeled, weapons, etc..., just look around the site. ;)

...me too...lol...

...this one seems to be detailed enough (system modeling wise) for me to ask my dad to buy for me as a "future occupational tool"...

...hopefully ::)

I am by no means a fan of the F/A-18E Super Hornet, but DANG that looks good. The AIM-120 locked picture sold it for me  ;D

Seen this a while ago, and wow, it just looks better and better.  Finally an 18 with launchable ordinance!  Sigh... I just wished there were SU-27s or SA-11s in FS that would shoot back at me...
Cheers,
RB

Not sure, the purchasing end of the deal is being done through AlphaSim I believe.  There's more info about this project in their forums.

well sorry to burst your bubble Jeff, but I think you will be flying a F-35. Try to ask your dad about the IRIS F-35. It's just as detailed.

Did you happen to run out of winking or laughing smilies that would have indicated you were just joking about the whole IRIS F-35 thing? :-?

Here, have a few more... ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

That should hold you over. ;) ;D

Just in case you didn't know, the IRIS F-35 is not very detailed at all, and not nearly what they are saying about this F/A-18. ;)
