Best Looking FS Aeroplane Ever?

Wow! The shots on Plane Design's website do not do their up-coming Spitfire justice!

LOOK AT THESE! ;D

I definitely need that!

By the way, will it be a clipped wing version only?

It is quite impressive, but it seems like everyone and their brother are doing Spits lately.  Don't get me wrong, I love the Spitfire, but it's a shame that some of the more obscure fighters never get the payware treatment.

Very nice 8) The poor Packard Merlin engined model does seem to have been suffering a lot of neglect....

Nope, a full complement of low back Mk XVIs... ;D

It is quite impressive, but it seems like everyone and their brother are doing Spits lately.

To be fair, there is a lot of variations of Spitfire (Mk 1 to Mk 24), and the XVI is one that hasn't appeared for FS. This should be another to rival the RAS Spit in quality terms, and in flight dynamics terms should be about as good as FS can get, due to the overwhelmingly high calibre of the testing teams "realware" pilots...

New screenshots posted on the Plane Design website...

http://plane-design.com/spitfire.html

This promises to be one of the best FS Addons around. The flight dynamics are being extensively modelled with the assistance of Andy Sephton, chief pilot of the Shuttleworth Collection in the UK, and former RAF and Rolls Royce Chief Test Pilot (which has the perk of flying the company's Spitfire!). He has over 200hrs on Spits of various Mks over the years (as well as holding time to height records in the Harrier! ;D), as well as several (!) other vintage aircraft...

In fact, here he is doing an impersonation of a cross between a Blackburn monoplane tailskid and a tractor...

Sorry to bring this back up! I have her safely resting in my hangar now. Purchased it this morning before I went off to party. I might try to get some shots of her in the near future ;) ;)
