What ever happened to SimTECH?  I can find them on Google but their web page never responds, are they still around?

I've heard of them...they may have gone out of business...Can you name any products...I might have one...But for all I know, I don't think I've ever purchased anything by that manufacturer... ;)

I believe they released all their stuff as freeware, so I'm guessing they don't sell aircraft any more.

Yep the La-7, Beech Staggerwing, P-39, Dornier 335 to name but a few that are now freeware.

Okay, that's what I figured.  Here's the reason for asking.

My first venture into designing aircraft in FS9 is a Fokker E.III.  I have a very nice SimTECH Dr.1 which used the same engine as the E.III (Oberursel rotary) and I wondered if I could use their sound files in my model since they're now freeware (giving full credit to SimTECH, of course).  But I have no idea who to contact to ask permission, or what the situation is or even who owns the files now...
