The Spitfire is the very essence of beauty, power and well crafted machinery.

If you can't see/hear what is special about a Spit then you should lock yourself in a small locker at the bottom of the Atlantic and beat yourself around the head with a gherkin until either a) you figure it out b) you meet the RMS Titanic!

Mitchell's Spitfire had a grace and beauty that went well beyond the parameters of the design specification. I have never heard a pilot complain about the way a Spitfire handled, they became one with the machine. I think the term "you strapped the Spitfire on" best somes it up. You either understand or don't.

As for models real or virtual you pays your money and takes your chance ;D
