Just saw this...100 pounds for 53 liveries....darn it....you buy a plane for 40 pounds plus you pay an extra 100 for 53 liveries...isn't the stereotypical view of liveries being freeware? This is weird...I have never owned a PSS product...forgive my stupid talk here 8) :-[

I know, but this has been a complicated project for them.
You dont nessesary need that many liveries. and Free ones can be downloaded from the website under "User edits"

PSS Products are of very high quality, im not 100% about the ins and outs of the 777, but the Airbus series and Vulcan i have are Fantastic.

If you want some screenies Ashar, give me a PM and i will send you some of the Vulcan or Airbus.

Cheers,

Very disappointed  :-/
I'm glad I was very cautious and only bought the 772 version for 20 pounds, I'd hate myself if I shelled out some 50 pounds for this...disaster.

The autoflight system is a complete joke, any one who knows an ounce of automatic flight will agree with this.
Nose pitching up and down during simple FL CH climbs/descents and even during the V/S mode.

No FMC fix page, VERY handy during online flying...

And for a long range aircraft, one would think that you could input the winds aloft into the FMC, But nope. No such function here.

Thank you for PMDG, flight1 and LDS, at least they promise AND deliver.

PSS products are for the casual simmer, so any hardcore simmers will only be disappointed, really.

I own the PSS Airbus Pro and A330/A340 Professional packages.
I liked those because they have a nearly fully functional MCDU (same as an FMC for the Americans  ;)) but I always had this issue with the unreliability of the Auoflight and Flight Director.

My verdict; PSS thrive on providing what doesnt exist.
If anyone else offered a quality MCDU and systems functional Airbus 320/330/340  I would prefer to get that. Same for a good 777, apart from PSS there just is none.

In economic terms; PSS have a monopoly in the planes they provide. Economics explains that therefore, the quality of their products is likely to fall, they are likely to become inefficient and they can raise the price regardless, people will buy.

Maybe I will use this example for my economics study  ;D

PS
very high quality

I disagree Jimbo. The quality is rather poor; they have hardly changed it from the FS2002 version and then proclaim it fit for FS2004?

Note the difference...

Well, maybe an update will make it better...
Still I respect these guys for supplying where there is demand!  ;)

Now that I actually have it...it's not that bad...I have not flown anything long-haul with it...but if it's not fully functional, then screw it...that over 40 pounds down the drain...oh well...the 50 North 737 Series is pretty good when you a decent sound set and a decent panel... ;)

We cannot officially say that the VC is crap because no other quality A32x product I know of beats it.

iFDG's models are freeware and they are great. Wait until Project Airbus releases their Airbus A320 Package...Project Airbus were considered dead...but they came back after almost 2 years. More info can be found here: www.project-airbus.com

Cheers all,
Ashar

PS: The 777 is not the greatest as I just found out... >:(
