IGFLY Walk and Follow

Postby Gus_2004 » Wed Oct 12, 2005 6:16 pm

Hey everyone -- it's been a while.

I was wondering if anyone would like to post their experience(s) with IGFLY's "Walk and Follow." I have it and it's a pretty neat "program" of three dll's. Albiet for $29.95.

I am experiencing numerous and unpredictable CTDs (crash to desktop) when using Walk and Follow. I haven't been able to re-create these CTDs to date.

The culprit thus far has only been dbs.cockpitwalk.dll
which is indicated in the crash window.

I already notified support at IGFLY. However, I would like to read what your experience has been with this product.

Cheers,

I used to get CTDs alot too with W&F...but it just sort of disappeared by itself after some time...

...but I have found if you avoid pressing the spacebar, it happens alot less often...

Completely unrelated, but that Phantom in your sig looks sharp! Where's it from?

Hatter, that's a repaint of the Alphasim (Pack 1) Phantom I made. It's payware as well and it has never caused any CTDs like another product I know of. You can see it at http://library.avsim.net/search.php?Sea ... &Go=Search If you search AVSIM with my last name you can see the others which includes Pack 2. The latter repaints being the better of the bunch.

Storm, that seemed to happen here as well -- the CTDs just went away. They came back again with vigor so tonight I figured I would remove that dll since I don't use it. IGFLY's site is down right now so I don't know what's going on with them. Not too happy about spending 26 bucks for a potentially "half-flawed" product.
