FSD Cessna 337

Postby jordonj » Sat Aug 20, 2005 9:18 pm

If you look over at FSD, then go to the upcoming releases page, you'll notice that the 337 has more of a presentation than it did.  Dare one hope that it could be on final?

I e-mailed them about this, and got the following response from Tim Dickens:

Yep, it's on final. We are just ironing out the nit-picky stuff now.
Should be landing very very soon.

Keep the blue on top!

I know I'll be waiting with my CC! ;D

I've been looking forward to the release of this one too, but the one I really have my eye on now is the Baron 58 by Dreamfleet  8) ;D

Not so sure about the Baron 58 (maybe) but I am definitely awaiting Lou Betti's Piper Dakota!

Well, guys, my Dakota got delayed due to the Baron, but it is on the production list after the Baron, along with two other similar Pipers. Also look for a twin Comanche from our newest member, Owen Hewitt (formerly of FSD). :)

First let me welcome you to SimV Lou, so a courteous welcome to you.

Secondly sorry to hear the postpone on the Dakota, however it would seem anything released by Dreamfleet is mind blowing flightsimmingasmic. The A36 was a thing of beauty, and having a pilot removable, as well as the tie downs, and other eye candy has made DF well above a number of competitive companies. I for one will buy each of DF's aircraft as they are released if they uphold the standards that was put into the A36.

I am also happy to hear about the next releases and anticipate them with a grin. Keep us informed!!

---Stephen

Also forgot to add, I am looking forward to the 337 release and the Lockheed bizjet from the retro days from FSD. DF may have Owen but I still love FSD products ;)

Ah well, these things happen!  I still am having great fun with the A36!

I too wish to welcome you to SimV!  Will Mikko and Owen be working on anything together?  Now that will be a killer plane!

Very cool!  Good to hear about the 337.  Mike Stone's 337 is probably the best plane he's ever done, IMHO.

Hi Stephen,

Thanks for the welcome, and your most kind remarks! :)

I am trying to make it a point now to visit the forums here, if not every day, at least a few times a week, but there are only so many hours in the day, and lots of forums to visit. However, since Simviation is a large site, I have to find the time, and am sorry I did not get around to visiting this friendly place sooner!

Well, back to work on the Baron; hoping to get it out of the hangar in a couple of weeks.
Regards,

Lou Betti
