New from Abacus

There is a new add on for Flight Sim.  Its a Civil Air Patrol package, and it has search and rescue missions that can be flown.

They lack detail and realism ......... 99% of freeware aircraft whips Abacus' ass.

Have to add that all my experiences with Abacus products have been poor too.  A couple of the planes included in one of their products were worse than some of the worst freeware I have downloaded.

best,

Their apache looks good too.  But ya, it seems Abacus has fallen short in the last recent years.  I used to really look up to them back in 98 and 99 though
Cheers,

Of course the best Abacus product is WW2 Carrier Operations - that Hellcat ROCKS!

What squadron and wing?

I use to be in CAP before I enlisted into the USAF with the rank of E-3 [AIRMAN FIRST CLASS].

I was in the Tamiami Composite Squadron from '99 to '03. I left the program as an 0-1 [CADET 2ND LEUTENANT].

I bought their A380 product right off the shelf at Gamestop. I wanted to see if these other people's negative claims are true.

They're not that bad. Except that the passenger cabin needs work and the cockpit feels cramped.
