Whats New for 2005 :o

Postby jrpilot » Thu Dec 23, 2004 5:31 pm

Hello,

Does anyone know what is going to be coming out in the PAYWARE ind. for 2005?  I hope to see the B737-3-4-500 series, the Md-80 and maybe that new ERJ...I know PMDG is coming out with the MD11 and B747...which I thought would def. be out by now but it is OK.  PSS is doing the B777 and B757 (Can't wait for that 757) and Wilco is coming out with a fabulous and well needed 767 (which is sort of a larger 757)

Two that I can think of that I will be interested in are by Dreamfleet. They have a Beechcraft A36, and a Piper Dakota in the works  ;D

Other than those two I havent really saw anything that really grabs my attention  :o

I would LOVE to see PMDG do the 737 classics (-300/400/500s).  Unlikely, but that's what I want to see.

Why is it only the -400 that ever seems to get attention??  Especially from MS...

The -400 is probably my least favorite 737.  I dunno, it just seems like the odd-ball of the family.  Don't ask why.  Maybe it's the fact that in the US, the only airline I know of that uses them is Alaska.  I'm picky...I'd rather see the -300.

My favorite is the 737-200 series. Nothing like a couple JT8's to enlighten the day!
MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum

1024MB PC3200 @ 500 MHz (Mushkin V2)
GeForce 6800GT OC (BFG)
(2) 80G SATA Seagates RAID0
(1) Maxtor 250Gb 16MB Cache ATA133

Ear muffs should be mandatory  :)
Seriously, my hearing is so sensitive that my head rattles inside whenever I've been close to a 732 taking off, rather uncomfortable experience. Same thing when you take 2 dinner plates and clang them together...ouch  ;D

I love 737's so I bought the old Dreamfleet 737-400 that was made for fs2000.

I merged it with an FFX model to fly in FS2002 and It's great.  I will never fly the MS 737 again.

If these guys are planning to update this aircraft for 2005, I'll be one of the first in line to buy it.

In the meantime, I'll buy PMDG's next gen 737's. I'm ready.
