...I've been knowing about this project . Bill Grabowski had been working on a MD-11 panel for quite some time and gave us frequent updates etc.
But then nothing happened for months and suddenly  yesterday my friend who is a moderator on a popular FS Board, aswell as a beta tester for the MD-11 panel sent me a notice that "Big things are happening with the MD-11 by Bill, cannot give you more details right now"

So this is what happened eh, PMDG took his project underneath their wings.

Well, the panel is "almost" ready (last time I heard only 2d panel was done, no real overhead, not to mention VC...), and that is the hard part with all the programming and other stuff I don't understand

Flying an American variant would like sleeping with your cousin..it is okay, but it certainly doesnt feel right!

Nice comparisin ..lol.. How diffrent are the European MD-11s?

It's the PFD and ND that are different in the symbology and colors (I think). I'm used to have it "european style, so that's why i prefer it  :)

The US and European versions differ on 10 different ND symbols if not more, so it is noticeable allright.

But I'd buy the US variant in a jiffy anyway  ;D
