landing problem

Postby captjim » Mon Feb 05, 2007 2:09 pm

:'(Hi fellow simmers, captjim here again,

New problem.  This recently started and is problem in fs9 and 2002.  Whenever I get lined up with the runway for landing, my plane starts to yaw to the right or left of the center line.  I have done all the required things, slowed speed and rate of decent etc.  However, I end up on either side of the runway.  Even if I use "autorudder" or not.  Any suggestions.  By the way I have calibrated the joystick.  Thanks, captjim

Are you using a prop driven aircraft? Then it would be torque.

There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

:-[ Usually jets, but on occassion props also.  I'll just have to work with it and see if I can get it to work right.  I could be in the microsoft forcefeed back stick.  as I indicated is did test the sensitivities and calbriated it.  I wounder if the auito rudder is the problem.  most likely it's old captjim just losing his touch.  thanks :-/

Have you looked at the Throttle Qaudrant? if not turn it on and is one lever higher than the other if so theres your problem. If not then i dont know what it is. Crosswinds? Rudder?
