ISD LIRF 2005 Installation

Postby Hai Perso Coyone? » Sun Apr 17, 2005 10:51 am

Hello all,
Can someone please help me with the installation of the LIRF 2005 Scenery by ISD? I know the scenery is meant for FS9 but I found an update which lets you use the scenery in FS8. I am confused about where to put the files. I tried it myself, and the Sim stopped responding at Loading Scenery TExtures at 18%. This only happens if i go fly i Rome. PLease, please help me. I live in Rome and it would be great if i could see a gud representation of LIRF.

Thanks,
Ashar

Hi Ashar, I can't say I've tried converting from FS9 to FS2k2 but follow the scenery tutorial in The Lair http://www.simviation.com/lair/fs2002sc.htm
Now I'm guessing some of the files have to be replaced with alternative ones. BGLs go into the Scenery folder and BMPs into the Texture folder. From there it should work. If not I'd contact the creators of this, maybe there is a missing file?

Mark ;)
