Ok look in FSedit and see what the engine performance figures are. Make sure it's set at 2700 RPM and 55 inches MP. (it may be set around 25-2600 because some high power engines will overspeed in FS) Set all the tuning sliders to zero, engine related anywhoo. If that doesn't fix it, your MP gauges may have been designed for a certain aircraft and read in percentages. I.e. 1inchMP may be 0% and 40inchMP may be 100%, which means your 55 would not show up, but since it's a percentage it may just stick it in there, sorry that doens't make lots of sense but I dunno how to explain it sorry. basically if the first suggestion doesn't work, try backing up the panel then replacing the MP gauges.
