Airspeed ind in spotters view

I'm very new to your board and was wondering if there was a way to see the airspeed and alt in spotters view?

As far as I know, no you can't in 2k2.  You could in fs98, but I haven't found a way to do it in 2002.

You can't bring the gauge up, but you can open a second window by pressing the "[" key.  Once that window is open, you can set that view to cockpit and the main view to spot and live happily ever after...

Welcome to the board, grnex.  If you need anything, I think you'll find everyone here helpful.  All that is asked is that you be respectful of others and stay away from religion and politics.  :)

In any view, press Shift+Z to cycle thru the info text at the top of the screen. You will see (1)coordinates, Alt., heading, speed, and wind, or (2)FPS, or (3)both, (4)off.

If you want to see the gauges, pressing Shift+1 will bring up the panel, super-imposed in a new window on your Spot view.

Cheers,
Dave

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.
