Throttle moves but does nothing

Well !!  I just downloaded a neat little Pitts and can't fly it !!  Boo Hoo !!!!

Anybody else tried  Pitts-S2A.zip  ?

The throttel control works with other aircraft .

Which site did you download it from?

Its 1 AM here and i cant be bothered.. lol

EDIT - Surclaro and SimV are two very different sites.. Ones purple..  ;D

It must be designed for FS9 only.. Sorry I cant help you, I must be having hallucinations because the words are scrambled up...

I did notice the words a little strange !!  Thought perhaps I was just sleepy !!  I would imagine you are right about FS9 .

hi, i have downloaded the same Pitts-S2a zip (for FS02) & have experienced exactly the same problem - my first course of action to try to remedy the situation was: to completely give up & go & fly something else, gutted though 'cause it looked like a wicked plane to fly!!!!!    :'( ;)

HI theysellcoke ,

Thanks for trying and is encouraging to know that you experienced the same thing .  I am not into aerobatics particularly , but just discovered the smoke effect and love it .  This little plane had red and white smoke trails and bet would have been nifty .  

I think we can get the smoke for other planes anyway , but I like to see things work !!!

Aha..

Go into the aircraft cfg and copy / paste the Smoke section into another aircrafts.. You'll need to modify the postition of the smoke inorder for it to be realistic, though..

I tried that and worked perfectly on the Stitts Playboy without further modification  .  Nice to learn something new and I thank you for the information .
