FS02 missions?

Postby alpinhi » Thu Sep 09, 2004 6:44 pm

When I fly one "missions" say for instance, the bush flying. I flew all the way out to get the hikers but I never saw them. Yes I was in the right spot. I see nothing on the screen that tells me I have completed the job or anything. Are we just supposed to fly to these locations and pretend we are picking someone up or dropping them off?

That's pretty concise, isn't it?

If I may elaborate a bit, you won't get a pat on the back from the sim for completing an adventure.  You take off, navigate, land and get a great sense of personal satisfaction from a job well done.

I doubt you're going to see the hikers you were supposed to rescue because they are probably not built into the scenery.

If it helps,

WAY TO GO!  YOU DA MAN!

If you're into helos at all, check out the liquid scenery at Hovercontrol.com....they've got exactly what you're describing....and I imagine you could do it with fixed wing aircraft as well, but some of the LZ's are much easier with rotors.
Great edit, Bob.

Google it.
