Taking off from Carriers....

Postby Zhukov121 » Wed Sep 08, 2004 6:47 am

Sorry to bother you guys, but I've been trying to find an answer to this question for a while now, with no sucsess.....

I recently downloaded a Westland Wyvern (an Aircraft my Dad admires) and I'd like for him to fly it off of a Carrier. The question is: How do I select a carrier as the start airport?

Apologies if this question has been asked before and I missed it, but I'm going out of my head here....

Thanks in advance

hi zhukov

first i must say im probably a worst pilot than u but, since no1 answers to ur post, ill do it, just hope u read it.

before all: get a carrier and install it

1. go to FS and Add it.
2. u must have a file,  known as "arrester cables" or something like that, i put it on my f-16, they teach how to make the panel look fine. look for "rcbco-11.zip" in flightsim.com
3.to start at the carrier u go to "create flight", "chose place(something like that)" and when u get to the part where u pick the airport click in "search add-on scenery" and ull have ur carrier. then u get to the runway, look for the gauge, click on it till the number that shows is high enough and than click in "arm" (i think it is) and u get launched.

pretty cool huh?

peace and play a lot
