eCheckride Problem, again :((

Postby Vette50th » Sun Aug 01, 2004 9:07 am

Hello everyone,

I had a similar post a couple pages earlier regarding the private pilıot checkride. Now I have a problem with the Intrument Rating checkride.

As instructed I make the VOR approach and perform a Mİssed approach and head back to the Seattle Vor. There, at 3000 feet, I adjust the OBS to 320 heading to fly the 140 radial to fly outbound from the VOR to intercept the ILS localizer for the Boeing field.(12.3 miles away from the Seattle VOR) As indicated in the chart I never descend below 2200 feet and fly at 3000 feet. HOwever, just about 1-3 mlies outbound from the VOR the ride stops and I fail. What coud I possibly have done wrong?

Are these checkrides a complete waste of time or should I start feeling incompetent? I do EVERYTHING by the book and always fly according to the charts.

Thanks for the help,I appreciate it.

Yep, there a COMPLETE waste. Read this:

Training For FS2002 and Fs2004 are now available through multiplayer. I can train you from nothing to a PPL level sim pilot, or teach some more advanced skills on a Twin engined aircraft.

Minimum requirements:

A PC.
FS2002 or 2004.
A joystick or game pad.
An Internet connection.

Preferable requirements:

System Speakers
A microphone
Roger Wilco
FS2002 Pro

I am able to teach in the stock Cessna's 172 and 182's, and the Beechcraft Baron 58. Cessna 310 coming soon-ish! Other types on request.
If you are interested, send me a private message. It doesn't matter how old you are, what you look like or where you're from. I don't even need your real name. And it's totally free.

I know It only says Cesspots and the Baron, but for one I may be able to run for the IFR rating.
