Hi thanks for the prompt replies, but I I copied and pasted the 747 panels for the aircraft from the MFS2002 default aircraft panels. Would this still cause a problem?
Hi Newsimmer. I think this confirms the panel isn't causing the problem. I would remove the suspect aircraft & try FS2002. You can delete them or cut & paste them into another folder. If FS2002 now runs OK the problem is with one that you removed. Paste them back in one at a time & try them in the sim to find out which one. Then maybe we can figure out what the problem is.
If this doesn't work it might be best to do a full Uninstall of FS2002. This will save so much time. Use the Uninstall option from the CD then exit the setup program & delete the FS2002 root directory folder from your HD. This will completely remove FS2002 from your system. Then you can start again from scratch.
I always install new aircraft or other addons one at a time & check them out in the sim before installing a new one. This can save a lot of time tracking down problems.
PS. I just had a thought. This sounds to me like a conflict with the visual model. Make sure the aircraft you install are suitable for FS2002. Although most of them work fine some of the latest FS9 models are not compatible with FS2002. This could well explain your problem.
