Any ideas please...in spot plane view height setting returns to default (view options) although distance stays as set??

On landing, I like to position myself behind and slightly below the aircraft.  Since there is no depth pereception possible, this makes it easier to control flare since you can see the space between the wheels and the runway. ;)
Where is it written?

Thanks for replying to 'Distance Setting...'  When you take the rear/low view, which I'm about to try, are you able to alter the distance from your own aircraft? Ideally, I wish to keep my own distance set in the program - which I could do with FS98.   FS2002 always returns to its default setting in spot plane view, even though there is a setting dialogue box.   Touch down in FS2002 entails quite a high workload when flying the 737 compared with FS98 which landed itself!   I've got myself tangled up with  the autopilot & reverse thrust, and what with keeping straight, ended up making a mess of things, to say the least!! :)

HI!
With liners the best way is to mantain the approach attitude (and, obviously, speed) untill 50 ft over the runway, then idle thrust and just wait.....pretty easy, isn't it?
Cheers!
Thank God for let me fly!

That is a good idea. That's typically what I do.
