Aircraft jumps on the ground

Postby GeneticA » Wed Mar 31, 2004 3:12 am

Hello,

A couple of days ago I joined VATSIM and set up some programs and add-ons (FSHost, SB etc.), added CSL folder into the aircraft folder and changed the FS2002.cfg file with another one that was required.

I conected to VATSIM server as described and hit Fly Now button in FS. My cessna appeared on the parking area and it started to jump on the ground :-/  ???

It jumps, gets buried under the ground then crashes. I tried other aircraft but only some of the cessnas crash like this. Boing 737 has no problem for example. Cessna caravan is fine as well.

Then I put the original FS2002.cfg file back but it didn't corrected the problem.

Lastly, I replaced the c182 folder (cessna 182) under the aircraft folder in my computer with another one from another computer. And the problem is solved.

I am confused with that because I have not changed anything inside the c182 folder while setting up all those things.

What could be the reason for this problem. Should I replace the other aircraft to solve this problem or is there a better way?

I also had a problem in an airport in Honolulu, some of the taxiways were buried under the ground, but I am not sure if this is coused by the things I recently added.
I'm trying to land
This aeroplane of ours gracefully
But it seems just destined to crash

Did you get the CSL libraries from VATSIM? I do not remember having any problems with that.
Also, have you added any sceneries in your FS? The buried taxiways seem like problem with scennery.

added CSL folder into the aircraft folder and...

Yes I added that in the aircraft folder. Does this folder alter my aircrafts settings? Maybe I got a wrong version of this CSL library?

I've added some sceneries but as I remember they were not around Honolulu. I'll check this.
