No, sorry - haven't got around to that yet.

Perhaps you have a glideslope problem, getting down onto that chimney, Santa?

Welcome!

Hi Chimney Destroyer, welcome to the forum!!

I have used this for a few days before I got bored. Basically it is a speech-recognition program. You'll have to download 60 Mb (!) from Microsoft as well to get it working.
It works okay but you'll have to teach it all commands and to recognise your words. It can only perform the tasks you have tought it, which is essentially pushing buttons for you. You have to use the exact words you tought the program to get it to do the task. If you pronounce things slightly different it won't work. So during a difficult approach, adrenalin pumping through you're vains, coming in way to fast you shout "Full flaps"...and get a "beep". Because you were not shouting during the teaching.... ;D
Also I found it very hard to remember exactly what words I had to use to get it to do a task, especially after I tought the program a lot of tasks. For example: was it "shutdown engine" or "engine shutdown".
So yeah, it's a good program and very funny but it's not like a real co-pilot. Those will act if you shout at them I suppose. I lost interest after a few days.

Cheers

You're welcome.
You could try it just to see for yourself though. If you don't like it just don't start the program and you can fly without it. It does not go into you flightsimulator, it's a program that is running at the same time but outside the sim. It is funny (for at least a couple of hours)

Seems to be similar to Game Commander, which I have used for years.
I have the other view which is that i find it essential, in my circumstance, which is that I do not fly with the keyboard to hand.
So, with a limit to my HOTAS ( I fly mainly combat!! ;) ) buttons, I find it very useful indeed.
As well, I suppose if you wanted to get very "realistic", and learn and use the radio phrases it would enhance the immersion, as opposed to pushing one keyboard button.
Different strokes.... as they say.

I agree with you to some extend. Just try it and see if you like it or not, it all depends on what you think is fun or handy.

I suppose if you wanted to get very "realistic", and learn and use the radio phrases it would enhance the immersion, as opposed to pushing one keyboard button.

Not so sure about this one. The program is very sensitive to how you pronounce the phrase. Hesitate for a second or speak faster/slower and it will not respond. This can be annoying, not realistic. ;D IMHO.
Still, if it works for you - great. I like it as a gadget.
