Cool Crashed

Postby Aspiring pilot » Sat Nov 01, 2003 9:10 pm

I know that some of you have crashed for fun/coolness. So have I. Heres the scenario:
Location: Rock Of Gibraltar(enhanced version, found in the FS2002 Scenery)
Aircraft:Boeing 737(with new crash effects)

I was trying to fly vertically so that I would quickly stall and fall backwards. I messed up on that one, but I found myself heading towards the rock at more than 400 mph, and slammed right into it. I crashed so hard the game glitched and the computer crashed!! :o

I want to hear your stories like this.
I finally used a dictionary to spell my name right.

As they say, 'don't try this at home'!

Welcome to SimV, aspiring pilot. I've got the Gibraltar scenery in my FS2002 also, and it featured in my current round-the-world flight.

Didn't crash into it, though...

Welcome, aspiring pilot!
You should have your head checked. There must be a lose connection somewhere. And a 400 mph crash into a rock won't have done it any good either. LOL

Are you into real-life crashing too? There's quite a few people around here who need only the slightest provocation to rave on about their car/motorcycle accidents and subsequently obtained scars.
Cheers

Hi, and welcome to the forums!  I'm not sure that crashing at that speed would be what caused the game to crash.  I like to do high speed tests to see what the fastest is I can go.  I have crashed many planes into the ground at speeds in excess of Mach 4 and no big deal there.  My computer was fine, even if it did smoke a bit...  ;D :D ;D
