Lost 747 Gauges

Postby Melocelo » Mon Nov 10, 2003 6:10 pm

As a very careless novice at this, I have somehow lost all the gauges from the 747 that comes as standard in FS 2002 Pro edition. Any ideas on how to get them back please??   ???

You'll need to find the gauges on the master CDs and copy them into the gauges folder.

OK - thanks Ozzy. I'll give it a go and try not to lose anything else!

You might only need one gauge. Look for Boeing747-400.cab. This is an "XML" cluster gauge containing several sub-gauges. It will be in a CAB file on CD-1. Open these in WinZip to extract the files in the usual way.

This is a tad difficult to explain but don't extract Boeing747-400.cab or any other CAB files in the master CAB files as these are gauges. Paste these files direct into FS2002\GAUGES. I suspect deleting this might have been the cause of your problem.
