AI traffic

Postby dhabibe » Wed Oct 15, 2003 11:47 pm

Lately i have not been able to see any other AI traffic aircraft when I run fs2002.  Settings are at 100% traffic but aircrafts wont show.  I noticed this started to happen when i started downlading aircrafts and other stuff for fs2002 from the web.  Does anyone know anything about this issue?   ???   i appreciate any help.
thanks.

Check your aircraft folder and make sure there is a file called default.cp. If not you can get it off your FS install CD using Winzip to open the aircraft.cab file.

There IS a default folder in aircraft.  Inside there is just a panel folder with a panel CFG file.  is this right? i still dont see any AI traffic.

It's a file you're looking for - not a folder. Here's how it looks in WinMe.

It's quite possible you deleted the file by mistake when installing aircraft. If so, it might be possible to retrieve it from the Recycle Bin. If not you can extract it from Aircraft.CAB on CD-1 with WinZip as Herber suggested.

PS. The file is named default.dp
