most 'involved' addon

Postby lib319 » Mon Sep 08, 2003 7:28 am

hi there,

does anyone know of a freeware addon aircraft that is a detailed and involving as the Fanda Dash 8?

huge start up procedure, tons of documentation, tricky to fly etc...

I haven't seen anything close to the Dash 8 in terms of workload

cheers

I think Meljet aircrafts are pretty good.

The PSS Airbus is pretty amazing in terms of detail. Every aspect of the start-up procedure (from cold, or using external power) is there, and if you use it with S-Combo, you can have some pretty realistic results.

As well as the extensive startup procedure, you're in total control of the FMC as well - you program the waypoints of your flight, as well as fuel loads, and V-speeds. It's pretty incredible, actually!

MAAM R4D is very detailed and if the steps aren't followed exactly, you will stay sitting in the parking place.

The authors make no apology for the complexity and invite those who want automatic features to go fly one of the toys that are available elsewhere.

;D

Hey...psst. Did you forget to read this in the tread creator's message

PSS Airbus isn't freeware, nor will it ever be...

Oops. It appears that yes, I did forget to read the whole message!

Mental Note: Plug in brain before browsing forums ;)
