After the day I've had, I think I'm having a bout with Cerebral Tendinitis...

I'll take off from SEA again tonight.  lol

Well, as I was saying in the other thread, I think the best thing for us to do right now is stop and evaluate what we've learned so far.

Hey...that gave me a great idea, Ender....

What if we, in honor of the 100th year of powered flight, recreate some of the most legendary air races that ever took place.  The Bendix would be a great place to start!

And if we all only flew aircraft that were available at that time....

Hmmm....might be easier to plan!
Great edit, Bob.

Excellent, excellent idea!  Again, I am only able to do offline races, but that sounds like it would work out great!

If you are starting over, you should let Will (Smokes2much) back in.

I'll play again, but only if I can use the SR-71, now I realize it's not from WWII, and I know it's not a single prop plane, but the thing is..I can finish the race in 15 minutes and go to bed.
Whatta ya say? C'mon, cut a brotha' some slack.

You jest, but this could actually be an AWESOME race too!  Imagine, the fastest of the fastest....

An SR-71 Blackbird Equatorial race.  Depart from one location, and go completely around the world at the equator...and it wouldn't take "that long"....

Hmm....

this is just an idea of mine but why not take a single engine prop fill her up to the brim and set out from an airport and see how far they can get without running out of fuel..the person who gets the furthest or is the last to drop into the ocean wins! use default corsair maybe and it will be a test of skill and saving the fuel as long as possible
