Smoke,
Ever heard about this DC4 (?) that crashed in the Andes? They were the first to experience the jetstream. It messed up their navigation (based on assumed speed, heading and time flown) because climbing over the mountains they met the jetstream head on (without realising it). Descent was way to early, flew straight into a very massive mountain, no survivors.
Don't say your Corsair can't beat a DC4 on altitude. So you better be carefull young man. Remember; no GPS allowed it says!

The first recording of the Jetstream was when the B-29's did high-altitude bombing over Japan near the end of the war

fair enough. Corsair in Jetstream is not so unlikely then.
I'll stop interfering with the actual subject of this topic now :-X, good luck to all competitors!

Okay, I think its time we started this.

So go get your aircraft, take a last look at Seattle-Tacoma Intl and light a fire under your arse, because here we go!

I see.
But you wouldn't do that in competition, would you.

Happy hunting

Just so you guys know, I have been having a few difficulties with my FSUIPC sttings, so my fps were down to about 8 or 9.  I reinstalled FS and that solved it, but I have been readjusting everything back to the way I had it before, so I haven't even begun the first leg of my journey yet.  I will probably begin either today or tomorrow, depending on whether or not I get things accomplished.  Just don't post any results yet.

Please provide a list of allowable aircraft and links to download the same. Thanks
I don't represent M$. Then why the name M$? Simple...I like what they make, especially FS!

Are you interested in joining in, or do you want to know for information purposes?  I have a list of the aircraft, rules and other such stuff in .txt format if you would like.

This sounds like fun, is it too late to join in? I wouldn't mind seeing that .txt file Baron.
When are you expecting to post results from the first leg? So I know if I have time to be a part of it all.

Yeah, I'm just about to fly the first leg myself.

I'll need a copy of the .txt.

Thanks!
Great edit, Bob.

You have the P-38 lightning on the list, but isn't that a two prop aircraft?
